Corrections

Where a guide is factually wrong, it gets corrected. Standards change, materials are discontinued, and prices move, and a guide that has not kept up is actively misleading rather than merely stale.

Finding a Contractor

For finding a contractor, the reliable approach has not changed. Verify licensing and insurance directly with the issuing body, get at least three written quotes, and ask each firm for recent local work you can look at.

Not a Contractor

The guides explain home renovation planning work; they do not provide it. Anyone wanting the work carried out needs a contractor, which this site is not.
